The real meaning of Christmas
Christmas is more than just a nifty holiday to get and give presents. Rather it’s a time for us to remember the miracle of Christ’s birth. Above all, as Christians, we believe that God sent his Son to us as a baby born in Bethlehem to a virgin named Mary over two thousand years ago.
Was Jesus born on December 25th?
No. The actual date is not recorded in the bible, but we and millions of other Christians choose to remember the greatest gift ever received on this day every year. The real story of Christ’s birth can be found in the bible, and to see it for yourself read Luke 2:1-20 or click here to read it online .
